Pearl Point Tradition Design
The Pearl Point Tradition cue showcases the timeless styling that has helped make Joss one of America’s most respected cue makers.
From the moment you see the cue, the rich nutmeg-stained curly maple and elegant pearl inlays create an impression of quality and craftsmanship.
Furthermore, the Pearl Point Tradition design balances classic beauty with serious playing performance, making it equally appealing to players and collectors.
Every detail serves a purpose.
Consequently, the Joss 20100 delivers both visual appeal and dependable playability that players can appreciate for years to come.
Nutmeg-Stained Curly Maple Beauty
The forearm begins with highly figured curly maple selected for its strength, density, and exceptional grain.
After careful selection, the maple is hand-rubbed with nutmeg stain that enhances the natural figure and highlights the dramatic movement within the wood.
As light moves across the surface, the curly maple reveals the rippling three-dimensional effect that makes this wood a favorite among cue makers.
Therefore, each cue possesses remarkable depth and character.
Wood is a natural substance, and the grain and color can vary greatly.
As a result, every Joss 20-100 displays its own unique appearance and personality.
Pearl Point Tradition Inlays
Four solid ebony points rise through the forearm, immediately establishing the cue’s classic appearance.
Each point features an elongated pearl diamond inlay that adds brilliance without overwhelming the design.
Moreover, these same pearl diamonds appear in the rear sleeve, creating visual balance throughout the cue.
The contrast between the dark ebony points, warm maple tones, and bright pearl accents creates a sophisticated, timeless look.
Because the design stays clean and refined, the inlays enhance the cue’s elegance while preserving its traditional styling.
Consequently, the cue appeals to players who appreciate understated craftsmanship rather than excessive ornamentation.
Traditional Materials and Craftsmanship
The cue features a stainless-steel joint polished to a mirror finish.
Not only does this joint add classic visual appeal, but it also provides crisp feedback and outstanding durability.
Many experienced players continue to prefer stainless steel for its firm, responsive feel.
Meanwhile, the traditional black Irish linen wrap with white specks is hand-pressed to perfection.
Therefore, it offers a secure grip, excellent comfort, and the familiar feel that generations of players have trusted.
For those seeking a different look, embossed cowhide leather is available as an upgrade.
Full-Core Joss Performance
Beyond its beauty, the Joss 20100 is engineered for performance.
The full-length core extends from the butt plate to the joint, creating the solid one-piece feel that Joss players consistently praise.
Furthermore, this construction helps resist warpage while improving structural stability and shot consistency.
Energy transfers efficiently through the cue, resulting in dependable feedback and a superior hit.
Whether you are applying spin, playing position, or executing pressure shots, the cue responds with confidence and precision.
