LS85-4E</h3><p><strong>A Classic Cue with Unmatched Elegance

L85-4E

begins with a stainless-steel joint, hand-polished to a mirror finish for durability and visual appeal.
The forearm features a highly figured curly maple with a nutmeg stain.

The stain is hand rubbed, making the striking grain immediately draw attention and admiration.
The rear continues this elegant theme, pairing rich ebony tones with refined curly maple inlays to showcase the wood’s natural depth and beauty.

It’s a timeless combination: the warmth of maple enhanced by the bold contrast of ebony, offering a classic and sophisticated design.

Finished with a hand-pressed Irish linen wrap, this cue not only looks traditional—it feels that way too, delivering a secure grip and smooth stroke.

Crafted for those who appreciate beauty, balance, and performance in every shot.

Wood is a natural substance whose grain and color vary greatly.

I have a limited number of cues in stock.

Description

LS85-4E Legacy

Dan Janes was a highly influential figure in cue making, and the Legacy series represents a special part of his legacy.

His commitment to combining functionality with aesthetics allowed his cues to stand out as high-quality tools for players while still being works of art.

These designs, introduced between 1983 and 1991, show the evolution of his craft during that period, as he worked to refine every detail to suit the needs of serious players.

It’s impressive that his dedication to the craft led to recognition in not one but two prestigious halls of fame.

2003 American Cue Makers Association Hall of Fame

2013 International Cue Makers Association Hall of Fame

Dan received a lifetime achievement award in 2022 from the ACA.

His work shaped the way cues are designed and influenced the game itself. If you’re a cue enthusiast or collector, the Legacy series represents the care and precision that went into his work.

In addition, this core delivers a one-piece feel and a superior hit.
|The center core makes Joss the most solid playing cue in the industry.

Joss Cues® is made in the USA, designed by Dan, and crafted by Stephen.

Stephen, named Cue Maker of the Year by the American Cue Makers Association in 2017, has worked with Dan for over forty years.
