Just received my model 20-06 today and played with it immediately. I could not be happier with the play, balance, and hit of this cue. Beyond those practical aspects, it is outstandingly beautiful! I have not owned a cue for 38 years, and back in the day I had a typical mother of pearl showpiece (by Billy Stroud). I chose this "plain-Jane" to go with a new attitude and lifestyle, but I have to say there is nothing "plain" about this gorgeous all-wood piece of artwork. Thank you for giving me something beyond what the price tag could ever express.

The cue is perfect, and my stoke is improving as well. My admiration of Joss Cues started when I watched Stephen looking at my son's Joss. Greg (my son) loves his Joss, and I can't imagine him shooting with anything else.

As Stephen was looking at it he proceeded to say “I made that” as he told Greg about the materials he used. I was already sure that I would only buy an American-made cue, but the look in Stephen’s eye as he inspected his work was the icing on the cake.

It is no wonder he has won the Cue maker of the year award, and I believe one day will (like his father) be inducted into the American and International Cuemakers Hall of Fame.

But NONE COMPARE to the feel, balance, and QUALITY of my JOSS cue!

This is my second one in the past 26 years of my passion for the game. I can not wait until I am able to get a "Custom" one from JOSS That has a couple of special things done to it!

While I have used many cues, I have always wanted another JOSS, and now I know why;

I can tell you that I don’t remember the last time I received such great service form a company, it’s no wonder that your cues hit so well if the same care is given to making them as it is given to the customer experience.

I must admit, I'm a little disappointed in the cue.
When shooting with the new cue, all of the balls didn't magically fall into the pockets. LOL

On a more serious note, the cue is beautiful. The stick has a very nice feel and shooting touch. I think I will enjoy the larger diameter shaft as I get used to it.
Having no clue about custom cues, I was surprised that the shaft was a much lighter, solid‑colored wood.
I assume that is standard, being a rookie.
It is still a very pretty cue.

Hi Dan,
I received my cue.
It's beautiful.
The clear-coat looks great. Love the color and the contrast to the shaft.
As far as looks go, it certainly exceeds my expectations.

I've only shot with it for an hour.
Big difference.
I'm 6'7," and this is my first extra-long cue. This one feels like I've got the weight behind me where it should be.
A lot more control.
I needed that, you were right. 60" is fine.
Feels like I've got an extra yard.

With the added control, I've lost a little english but I think I can get it back with a little practice. If not, I might go to a Kamui medium or soft.

Dan, you're a master, you did a great job.

Frankly, the entire cue is beyond what I’d even hoped.

Unfortunately, I was only able to hit a few balls this morning before leaving for work but was able to tell in that short time that it hits just like a Joss cue always does, and there’s nothing better.

The longer length is perfect, and my hand is now on the wrap as I wanted. I love the simple yet elegant look, and it shouts quality.

I opened up the package over the weekend and I'll admit I was at a loss for words when I first viewed my cue. It's probably an understatement to say... WOW, it's beautiful. Stephen is obviously a very talented and gifted craftsman in the pool cue arts! Attention to detail is a talent that is sometimes underappreciated but one that Stephen fully grasps. I've always believed that confidence in your equipment is one of the most important factors in any sport, and maybe even more so in the pool game. For almost 50 years, I've trusted my Joss cues (I also have a Joss Sneaky Pete) and will continue to do so as long as I can still play. Thanks so much for everything you guys have done for me!

First, I want to say a Joss cue was the first nice cue I ever owned. Bought a used cue from my first league team captain almost 20 years ago and have owned at least 6 since then.

I finally bought a Thor Hammer break cue and was super stoked until I found a crack running under the ferrule on the shaft. I called Joss, and they said to send us the shaft and let us look at it. I sent it, and the same day that it arrived, I got an email saying your new shaft had shipped.

Needless to say, I was beyond impressed with their ease of contact and readiness to stand behind their work and word. I’ve always loved the cues, but this speaks volumes as well!
